Our blend of lemon, clove, cinnamon, eucalyptus, rosemary, and lavender essential oils in a hemp seed oil base is inspired by the legend of Thieves oil.

Legend holds that the thieves, who were perfume and spice merchants, protected themselves during the Bubonic Plague in the 15th century by creating a special concoction of aromatic botanicals soaked in a cloth and worn over the nose.

They were able to rob from the infected and dead without ever catching the highly infectious disease.
